1st Captain
As First Captain, you hold full command of the vessel. You ensure safe navigation, smooth operations, and an exceptional experience for both crew and guests.
Main Responsibilities
• Oversee all vessel operations: navigation, maintenance, and compliance
• Safely maneuver through rivers, locks, and bridges
• Manage administrative and operational tasks
• Lead, coach, and motivate the crew
• Ensure onboard safety and professional standards
• Resolve technical or operational issues efficiently
• Train new crew members in safety and procedures
Your Profile
• Proven experience in river cruising or maritime operations
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• Flexible, accurate, and stress-resistant
• Excellent communication in English and/or German
• Knowledge of nautical rules and navigation procedures
• Team player with a service-oriented mindset
• Well-groomed, professional, and reliable
• Confident in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Engineer (Boat & Bike Ship)
As Engineer, you play a key role in maintaining the vessel’s technical performance and ensuring safe, efficient operations on board.
Main Responsibilities
• Maintain and monitor the ship’s engines, machinery, and equipment
Maintain the public passenger areas and passenger cabins to ensure high quality maintenance standards for our guests.
• Carry out regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes and system checks
• Collaborate with the Captain and repair department to resolve technical issues quickly
• Supervise and manage tools, spare parts, and technical materials
• Keep the engine room clean, safe, and fully operational
• Monitor and record waste water systems in line with environmental regulations
• Check and document the quality and supply of drinking water with the 2nd Captain
• Maintain accurate logs for fuel, oil, temperatures, and pressures
Your Profile
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar engineering role (preferably on ships)
• Good command of English and/or German
• Technical education or maritime engineering background
• Certifications as Breathing Apparatus Carrier and First Aid are a strong plus
• Hands-on, responsible, and safety-conscious
• Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit crew
• Organized and proactive problem-solver
